Ontario Students must be nominated by their home university based on that institution’s selection processes and criteria. Application forms must contain a list of three Jiangsu universities at which the applicant may wish to study. The Academic Directors will place as many students as possible at their first-choice institution.You are encouraged to review the Ontario Sudent Information Booklet for additional details regarding the Jiangsu universities.Nanjing

It is program policy, however, that students be placed equitably throughout the system of participating Jiangsu universities. The prospective host university is responsible for deciding whether to admit students and at what level (graduate or undergraduate). Placement may also depend on arrangements to ensure the availability of required credits for each student.

Schedule and Deadlines

Student applications should be submitted to your International Office. Please check for the home university deadline and requirements.

The various OJS Application forms and information files for students at participating Ontario universities can be found below. Application forms for students selected by each Ontario university to participate in the Ontario Jiangsu Exchange Program should be submitted to the OJS Program Office by January 31, 2020.
Successful students will be advised of their placements in the host Jiangsu University by April 1, 2020.

Applications for the Summer Research Program will be accepted up to January 31, 2020. The application form can be found below. A PowerPoint presentation for the Summer Research Program can be found here.

Applications for the Chinese Food Culture, Chinese Language & Culture, Intensive Mandarin, and Summer Design School programs will be accepted up to March 1, 2020. The application form can be found below.

Regular exchanges will begin in September 2020.
